BB - BRIDGE
BUILDER
The Bridge Builder is used for free cantilever construction
of post-tensioned box-girder and cable-stayed concrete bridges. Engineering
service is provided to international standards.
Standard convertible Bridge
Builders:
The Standard Bridge Builder is designed for a maximum segment length of 5 m
and load capacities (concrete and formwork) varying from 100 tons to 500
tons.
Tailored Bridge
Builders:
The Bridge Builder may be tailor-made for segment lengths beyond 5 m and
other extreme conditions. Alternatively it may be designed for shorter
lengths where the maximum segment length is less than 5 m.
Precast Segmental Bridge
Builders:
The Precast Segmental Bridge Builder is designed for a maximum precast
segment length of approximately 3m to 5m and load capacities between 100ton
and 500ton.

deflection control:
A variety of technical advice is available in connection with
cantilever-bridges, covering in particular the following subjects:
- Optimum design of cross-section
- Deflections, calculation and control
- Time saving working procedures
